Spotlight Tuesday, a portrait session with Evangelia

Portrait session with Evangelia

Last week I had the pleasure to photograph a beautiful young woman. There is something really special about working together with (young) teenagers and how they live their life. It’s hard being a teenager, not only are you slowly becoming an adult, but you also have to figure out what you want out of this life.
I love photographing these young individuals during their journey to adulthood. And last week this was with Evangelia.

We met up at the gardens in Asheville and I introduced myself to Evangelia and her mom. When I have a photo shoot with people under 18 years of age, it is required to have a parent present. This is important for the model’s comfort as well as safety. If you are an under-aged girl, please make sure that you always have a parent present. If the photographer does not allow you to bring a parent or tries to convince you to come alone, this is a major red flag! Be ware of photographers like that.

After the introduction and signing of the model release, we walked through the gardens and shot pictures at beautiful spots. Evangelia was very good with following direction, something that I always find very pleasant. This will also help her in the future, on her quest to become a model. I believe she has potential to make it very far in the fashion world.

Let’s get to the pictures!
