Spotlight Tuesday, senior portrait session

Botanical gardens with Jordan

In this weeks Spotlight Tuesday I’m highlighting the senior portrait session I did with Jordan. The botanical gardens were once again my go-to place to shoot the pictures.
The sun was out and created spectacular light!

Jordan responded to my call for junior/senior models to help me build my portfolio for senior portrait pictures. Portrait has always been my big love and I love working with teenagers.
We met up at the entrance of the botanical gardens and we walked up to the first spot I wanted to take pictures.
Jordan brought her best friend as well, something I always encourage, because this makes people feel comfortable. It shows in the pictures and it’s an overal great help.

We started with some normal pictures to warm up to being in front of the camera and soon enough Jordan started posing on her own. She followed my directions perfectly and she understood right away what I was asking of her.

We played around a bit with the light and the leaves and I lost track of time at some point. The light was so wonderful to work with, I just couldn’t stop shooting.
Unfortunately we had to wrap up the shoot due to the gardens closing, but I couldn’t be more happy with the results I had on my camera.

Let’s get to the pictures!
