Styled wedding shoot at Weaver House in Weaverville
A few months ago I started planning a styled wedding shoot to add to my wedding portfolio. Several wedding vendors reached out and the planning could begin.
This was the first time for me to ever plan a photo session like this and I was nervous but also very excited. I did not expect to get this much response and businesses interested in working together.
A lot of the businesses I worked with on this shoot, are local small business owners, to give them a chance to get their name out there for themselves as well. This is a great opportunity for everyone involved and to showcase their work for potential brides and grooms.
Yesterday we finally had the shoot and it could not have turned out better. The weather was warm, partly cloudy and the garden at the venue looked absolutely gorgeous. It is a try gem in the Asheville area with fantastic people who work there.
We started getting the bride ready, this took a total of approximately 2 hours. After her hair and makeup, we put on her stunning dress and got the groom ready. This was also the first time the bride and groom met, but they ended up getting along with each other so well, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better match.
The baker and florist set up 2 tables with flowers, greenery and the cake together with the event planner from the venue. Everyone did such a fantastic job.
We even got a special guest, Leo, the cutest dog in town with a cute little bow tie to match the groom!
A big shout out to all the vendors involved:
