As a new addition to my website, I would like to introduce Spotlight Tuesday. Every Tuesday I will highlight a photo session I did with one of my clients.
The honor of the very first Spotlight Tuesday goes to Kari and Jennifer!
On February 4th of 2019 I had the pleasure and honor to photograph the wedding from Kari and Jennifer in downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
I met Kari and Jennifer two weeks earlier for an engagement photo session. We met in downtown Asheville and did the photo session in front of the court house. I found this location earlier on the internet while browsing for beautiful photo locations in and around Asheville downtown. Right in front of the courthouse, there is this beautiful spot with pillars and a walkway, perfect to shoot some pictures!
Both Kari and Jennifer are so easy to work with, they didn’t need a lot of direction, everything was so natural and spontaneous. They certainly made my work as a photographer easy!
So I felt absolutely honored when they asked me to photograph their ceremony in the courthouse in downtown Asheville two weeks later and I said YES right away. I couldn’t wait capturing their love and special day for them.
We met early in the morning at the courthouse and did the ceremony. It made me so happy to see them say I do to each other, with those love filled eyes. It’s so beautiful and heart warming to see their love for each other.
After the ceremony we took some pictures inside the building, it’s so beautiful inside that we just had to take some pictures. The ceiling is so beautifully decorated. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of light inside the seemingly dark building, this made for some beautiful natural light pictures.
Of course we also had to take some pictures outside, especially because it was the same location as we did the engagement session. But this time it was after the I do’s and officially Mrs&Mrs!
